Acclaimed photographer Gregory Crewdson doesn’t just “take” his images, he creates them, through elaborate days and weeks of invention, design, and set-up. The epic production of these movie-like images is both intensely personal and highly public: they begin in Crewdson’s deepest desires and memories, but come to life on streets and soundstages in the hills towns of Western Massachusetts.
Filmed over a decade, beginning in 2000, Gregory Crewdson: Brief Encounters provides an unparalleled view of the moment of creation of his images.
Gregory Crewdson : Brief Encounters , the movie directed by Ben Shapiro about the work of the acclaimed photographer Gregory Crewdson is finally landing in Italy, from the Film Forum in NYC to Florence at the Film Festival Lo schermo dell’arte

I was looking for a videoclip showing Istanbul, Turkey where I’ll have to flight to shot GUESS stores in the very next few days… while I found this one taken by the Canon European Marketing Office. This shooting was taken with the pre-release prototype of the 60D DSLR camera just on location in Istanbul, Turkey.
Nice, enjoy it all!!
I was so fascinated by the work of the London Aerial Photographer Jason Hawkes that I have found out this other footage which let me really astonished as I also love London!!
Enjoy this flight over London!
Just to draw the curtain over The Shard opening I’m going to leave you with this incredible London flyover footage, taken by aerial photographer Jason Hawkes, showing the huge city in a way most of us haven’t seen before. Through Mr. Hawkes’ lens eye-view we begin to grasp the true scale of the soon-to-be Olympic city; including some beautiful dusk shots of The Shard, which is now the tallest building in Europe as we said before…
Thanks Jason for your pictures from the sky!
